Formed in February 2023.
A bass and vocal duo active in Tokyo.
We sing and create about the lifelong solitude of you and me.
Ryo Yoshinaga is a singer-songwriter delivering “quality pop” with a clear, resonant voice that lingers endlessly in the listener’s heart. Drawing inspiration from soul, R&B, acid jazz, and AOR, her music blends sophisticated pop melodies with lyrics that read like fragments of a story—inviting imagination and offering comfort in everyday life.
As a chorus singer, she has performed at iconic venues such as Nippon Budokan and Tokyo International Forum, appeared on television, and contributed to numerous recordings, sharing her voice wherever it is needed.
Beyond music, Yoshinaga’s passion for design and crafts led her to Finland, inspiring her to incorporate Finnish words into her works. A true café enthusiast, she holds a barista qualification, and more recently, she has begun studying astrology with the aim of bringing healing through her readings, just as she does through her music.

どこまでも響く伸びやかな歌声で、聴き心地のよい”良質ポップス”を届けるシンガーソングライター。
自身が影響を受けたソウル、R&B、Acid Jazz、AORなどのテイストを感じられるポップなサウンド、聴き手の想像を掻き立てるまるで物語の一説のような歌詞。どんな日常でも、誰の心にも寄り添うその楽曲は、全て自身が作詞作曲を手掛けている。
コーラスシンガーとしても活動。日本武道館や東京国際フォーラムなどでのライブ出演や、テレビ出演、レコーディングなどに多数参加し、様々な場所でその "声" を必要としてくれる人のために歌っている。
デザインや雑貨が好きが高じてフィンランドを訪れたことがきっかけとなり、アルバムや楽曲タイトルにフィンランド語を使うなど、北欧好きな一面も。またバリスタの資格を取得するほど無類のカフェ好き。
最近は占星術の勉強を本格的に始め、少しずつリーディングでも誰かの心を癒せるようになる予定。
From Japan, comes Stargirl, a band that fuses the ethereal with the tangible, the dreamlike with the real.
Their sound delicately balances shoegaze, dream pop, and indie rock, capturing the spirit of the ’90s and 2000s while maintaining a distinct and unmistakable identity.
Formed in 2022, they quickly debuted on a Brazilian indie label and released two singles.
Their music is not only to be heard but felt — immersive, shimmering, raw, and beautifully alive.
On stage, Stargirl use 60's japan vintage guitar — Maiko, a passionate collector and geek— creating intimate, psychedelic, and unforgettable performances.
Their songs and performances, blurring the line between dream and reality, are destined to shine as a guiding light in this chaotic world.
